Chew’n the Cud

cow2

I don’t know how ya’ll feel about cows. But, it seems to me they are always chew’n. My bovine literate husband has explained why to me on more than one occasion. Obviously I was listening because I, for the life of me, can’t remember why. But, this got me to thinking, a scary thought I know.  They are always chew’n the cud as it is called. I wonder how many of us today are still chewing the cud we should have spit out a long time ago. Mulling over things that were hurtful can only bring bitterness.  I understand it takes a while; but if we are still hashing over things that took place 10 years ago, we are in serious trouble.  This is how bitterness takes root in our lives and it hurts us the most. Take time today to ask God to help you forgive the person who hurt you, then let it go and stop chew’n on the cud. Your breath will be fresher, your life will seem sweeter, and you will free yourself to move on to something better.

  6. Wonderful blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely
overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Bless you!

    • There is a lot to take in when starting your own website. Especially if you are like me and do not have a padded bank account to fund it. I started with WordPress because that was what was used and recommended by the writers I am acquainted with. But, if you can’t afford to pay for the hosting of the site, start where you are and go with one of the free versions until you can do better. I am not familiar with those and can not give any advise with regards to them. You need to have a presence on social media weather it be Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter or another. You need to have a place to post your blogs so others can comment. This begins to build a network of people who are interested in what you say even if it is only your friends at first.
YouTube has a video for every situation including step by step instructions on setting up a website. If you don’t know something you can google it.
It will take patience and some time but you can do it if you do not give up.
